ShadeBuddy is a browser extension designed to help you choose comfortable seating on buses by analyzing sun exposure along your route.

Information We Process

When you use the extension to check bus routes, we process only the following data:

• Latitude and longitude coordinates of the selected cities on your bus route
• This location data is sent to our server solely to calculate seat shade preferences

What We Don't Collect

ShadeBuddy does not collect, store, or share:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Browsing history or activity
• IP addresses or device identifiers
• Payment information
• Any other personally identifiable data

How We Use Data

The latitude and longitude coordinates you provide are used exclusively to:

• Calculate the sun's position relative to your bus route
• Determine which side of the bus receives more sun exposure
• Provide you with seat recommendations

All requests are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties. The location coordinates are processed only on our server for the sole purpose of providing the seat recommendation feature.

Security

While we process minimal data, we implement appropriate technical measures to protect the information transmitted during your use of ShadeBuddy.
